Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my online booking?

Yes, you can change the day or time of you party booking, providing it is atleast 14 days prior to the birthday party. Email your store with the request and they can process for you.

There is a $44 admin fee for this process.

There is no fee to change rooms (at same date and time) if available or to change Packages.

Can I book a party on a public holiday?

Yes, you can.  A $100 surcharge applies for bookings on Public Holidays.

Please contact stores for these dates as some stores operate limited hours on Public Holidays.

What can I bring on the day?

Monkey Mania does not allow external food or drinks to be brought in, however you are able to bring your own Birthday Cake, Party Bags.

Please note a Cakeage Fee applies for Birthday Cakes if you have not booked a Birthday Package with us.

Please also note we do not allow Helium balloons, pinatas, sparklers or glitter or wall decorations.

Can I bring a face painter or entertainer?

Yes you can although we require the Public Liability and their Working With Children's Check of the entertainer to approve at least 14 days in advance. Please speak to your chosen venue first as some stores do not allow external entertainers. 

Do Adults have to pay?

There is no charge for adults that are attending birthday parties. 

 

 

General FAQ's 

Do we need socks?

Children & Adults are required to wear socks on all play equipment.  We sell socks if required.

How long can we play for?

Each admission ticket entitles you to a single entry of unlimited play for the day. We do not give pass outs.

Are bookings required?

No, if you are coming in for a casual play. Tables are not reserved, we do our best to quickly separate tables during the busy periods. If you are a large group it's always best to let us know you are coming and pre-order food. For school groups and vacation care facilities please contact your local store to make a booking. 

Are adults allowed on the play equipment?

If a child requires assistance we allow the parents to assist their children.

Can I bring my own food?

No, there is a fully stocked kitchen/cafe with a wide variety of food and drink. Baby food is an exception.

Can I bring a birthday cake?

If you have booked a party package in a private room you may bring your own cake. Please note we cannot store or refrigerate your cake therefor ice-cream cakes are not ideal. For Casual parties we have a cakeage fee. The fee is $3 per person ($35 minimum) that will allow you to bring in a birthday cake and includes the plates, bowls, serviettes, candles and a plastic knife to cut the cake.  Please take note further information about having a casual birthday at Monkey Mania.

Can I host my own casual birthday party at Monkey Mania?

Yes but please note: tables are unable to be reserved, no outside food and drink to be brought in other than the birthday cake (as per above a cakeage fee applies), no decorations are to placed on walls, tables, chairs or the roof (including tablecloths). Any adult platters need to be pre-ordered and paid for in advance.

Can I leave my children at Monkey Mania?

Parents are not allowed to leave their children in the centre without a guardian unless they have signed up for the Drop ‘n Shop/ Drop ‘n Dine Service.  The Drop ‘n Shop/Dine service allows parents to leave children aged 5 years and older (must be toilet trained)  to be left in the care of Monkey Mania for upto three hours. Please see the Drop ‘n Shop/Dine section on each location page for further info. (Not available at Bankstown).

What dress do you suggest?

Socks are mandatory. We also suggest long pants to avoid skin burns on the slides. 

Do you cater for large groups

Yes, we offer a range of packages for various groups including Work Functions, Christmas functions & Play Groups.
